Another story for the 18ths!

Happy new year everyone. Ours was quite uneventful but more excited about the upcoming Bdays for our 2 gorgous boys. Anyway, I just thought I would share with you a moment of my amazing parenting! I decided that i woyuld actually have a shower on my own this morning and left the boys in their room, entertained (or so I thought) by a bunch of new and exciting xmas toys. Well, how much mischief can they get up to while I have a quick 5 minute shower?????Well, lets just say, I will always remember to shut the door of the second bathroom!! I walked out to a hallway filled with toilet paper with Felix eating the paper and Charlie licking a toilet brush!!!!! PLease dont come Child Protection!!!! I was going to capture this beautiful moment but I was too mortified! I also thought that I should be a good parent and stop Felix eating the paper and brush their teeth and pop them in the bath! That 5 minute shower was sooooo not worth it! Finding it difficult to see the cuteness right now! xxxx

Anyway, I am spending the eve with 2 gorgeous men (namely Felix and Charlie) as Jules is at work and all of my girlfriends are single with lives!!!! So its me, the twins, a bottle of wine (when babes are in bed - I really am a responsible parent!) and bad tv. Sounds like bliss! Happy New Year. Cherish what is good in your life. The New Trampoline

The new tramp was definitely a hit for both the kids and the adults!

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! SANTA HAS BEEN

What a Beautiful day and a fabulous Christmas. we had 22 people here and it was pure joyous chaos! All of the kids had a complete ball and were thoroughly spoilt (as they should be!). Anyway, the day started at 430am (did you notcie the AM????) when we heard a very loud Darbs yelling "WAKE UP KIDS, ITS CHRISTMAS!!!" They were all super excited and the boys just couldnt believe their luck when they saw all that paper to play with! Never mind the pressies. They are just extras! It was beautiful to see the kids delight and people kept coming all day with more and more and more and MORE presents for them. We had a fab huge family lunch with my family and Jules family and it was absolutely lovely. We have a gorgeous and loving huge family and we realised how lucky we are. There was (and still is) loads of food, choccies and wine. How blissful! I loooove Christmas xx Thanks to everyone for truly beautiful and memorable day xx

Gorgeous and Mini Gorgeous

me and sweet Felix

Chrissy carols - oh how I love Christmas!

We took the boys to the Chrissy carols tonight and, as usual, I was quite emotional as i am about about the first of everything they do!!! They enjoyed it so much that Charlie fell asleep. Our other kids were there also but not with us -which of course also adds to my emotional state! Nothing is ever quite the same without them. I miss them so much. Anyway, I will stop my raving and post some cute pics of the boys at their first carols. I also had a lovely time with my gorgeous, beautiful and supportive husband. Life would definitely not be as good wihout him!~ What a lucky mummy and woman I am! see you all soon. 5 sleeps until Santa ..... xxxx

the boys first sleepover!

It is the week of sleepovers. However, this time it was Charlie and Felix's turn and Nana and Papas turn to get up several times a night! The boys had a blast with Nana and Papa and think they were pretty spoilt (not sure that they were really happy about coming home!). I am also not sure who enjoyed the Saturday morning cartoons more - babies or Papa!! I would definitely say Papa!!! They had fun and I spent my night of freedom, pining for them. This was just a practice run though. Anyway, went out with a few girlfriends and had a few glasses of champagne so today was a little more challenging than usual. We then went up to uncle Scott and Aunt Sandy's house to celebrate her graduation from Uni and had to have more champagne! Poor me.

CONGRATS AUNTY SANDY!!!!! We wuv you! xxxxxxxxxx

Still trying to figure out why we chose spag bol as the first "self feeding"food!

our bambinos

going back a few days ......

On Monday night, we had the childrens school christmas Carols. It is always a fun night and this year was no exception. The kids have a blast with lollies, sausages and icecream and had fun hanging out with their buddies (as did Jules and I!). It is sad that the school year has ended. We have some fantastic friends who are parents enjoy sharing our kids and the funny stories of the mischief they get up to! Anyway. all the grades sang and her is a pic of our lovely Al and Luc singing their little hearts out. Happy Christmas! xxxxxxxx

Charlie packs the dishwasher after Jules yummy pancakes. Getting him trained early!

The next sleep over - Lucy's early bday party!

Mummy consoling Charlie after having a scary incident with the feather boa!!!

Cabaret Singer / Dancer???

Take a peek at my lovely Felix. He adores his feather boa!! He loves to wear it when he can! Charlie hates the boa and screams every time he sees it. It is soo funny. He also screams when he sees anything to do with ducks!! Is it mean that I think this is sooo funny?

the sleepover

Well - as predicted, not much sleep happened at Amy's sleepover last night. The kids had a fab time with lots of lollies, junk and hyperactivity (and a little cheekiness!). A blast was had by all and Jules and I are a little bleary eyed today! I have to go to work in an hour which may be interesting..... Anyway, they played games, watched a few flicks and gossiped which makes up a pretty cool slumber party. The pinata cake was a hit which was good as it took Jules and I 4 attempts at the chocolate shell and several packets of chocolate!! Anyway, we are doing it all again on thursday for Lucy's birthday (gluttons for punishment??). Anyway, we took them to the park for lunch and a big play so that they would be tuckered out and come home for a sleep. Didnt work! . .

Swimming pics as promised!

Today was our last swimming lesson for the year. We brought the other kids to watch today as they have been bugging us to come all year. Now, they took some footage but most of it would give you motion sickness if I made you watch it! I dont know what they were doing but it is seriously chaotic! Thanks kids. Anyway here is one that was ok but doesnt show you much of their swimming but its the best i can do!

My talented musicians with their equally handsome Daddy

Music and noise

Gee our boys have a busy life. Yesterday was music day. They go every wednesday and are starting to really get into it. They love seeing their little buddies and stealing their instruments off each other! They have a bit of musical tslent (thanks to my daddys genes - thanks dad!). Remember I said that they could be athletes, I would also be happy with musical geniuses!! No pressure boys??.....

Happy double digits Amy!

Amy was ten yesterday! I will have to post some pics tomorrow when she has some of her gal pals over for a sleepover (why do they call them sleep over when no sleep ever happens!). We had a family dinner last night with Ames request of hamburgers and sticky date pudding. We had a great night and she was spoilt rotten by gandparents but I couldnt find the camera as it was in the bottom of the pram. Anyway, I will take a few snaps tomorrow when she has her cake and friends. Happy birthday to our second little tweenie! xxx

more pics of our gorgeous Felix to come so stand by.....

I just realised how many pics of Charlie I have posted today. I think this is because he is always wanting me to take his photo and instantly smiles when I get out the camera!! (model perhaps??!!) Felix is a little shyer and doesnt smile for the camera a smuch. He is a lot like Jules and is probably worried that his hair isnt just right!! Only joking to both my lovelies (hope Jules isnt reading this - at least it will test out whether he does!)

Anyway, promise I will add some more of felix and his equally gorgous face / smile. I am off to bed with a mag. Love to you all xx

Charlie standing!

Having a tickle with big sis, Ames - i love you Amy xx

Always remember that Cheese and Charlie dont mix!!

Cheeky Charlie

My fine Felix

Happy 11 months Boys!!!

Well the countdown is on until the big one - 1!!! Today has been a beautiful day with my sweeties. They are complete mama's boys (which I love - dont tell Jules!!). Their smiles and giggles make me laugh and can instantly turn a bad day into a fab day. They both have excellent sense of humours (although each is funny in their own unique way) and they love each other to bits. They are always looking for each other.
Anyway, I will fill you in on the boring details of our day (mainly for you grandparents who thrive on the boring bits!!). We went swimming this morning as we do every thursday. The boys have been having lessons for nearly 7 months and can swim under water already! Awwww proud mummy. I must remember to take the camcorder next week and add a small clip so you can see it. i must say, it looks hillairious! They are still so little and it seems unbelievable that they are swimming. Not doing laps or butterfly yet but I believe we may have some Olympic athletes in the making!! Mmmm, wishful thinking....
The boys and I then took Dadda to work and went shopping and as usual, we were stopped by a gazzillion people along the way, wanting to see the adorable twins and share a twin story with me!! We stopped for a peek at Santa and their expressions were priceless. Felix dropped his jaw and the beloved dummy fell out. Charlie stared for 5 minutes and then lost it!! Dont think we will visit Santa again this week.
We then went and had coffee (they had formula!) with a couple of good friends where AGAIN, a agazzillion people came and chatted!! Even though I complain (jokingly) that it takes me threee times as long to get anywhere, it is lovely that people are interested in our family though.
We then went and got the big kids from school and had a very cruisy arvo and spoilt them with sausage rolls, ice cream and candy canes for dinner!! (aww im such a good mum!)anyway, enough boring stuff, I will post some cute pics xxxx

Oh yeah, Charlie has started standing up on furniture ( i mean holding onto it - not actually on it!!) I cant believ my precious angels are growing so quickly. Love em to bits!!!

aunty sandy and felix

The little darlings are bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning after a night of wanting to play with Mama! The other kids arent here so we are feeling a little lost today. House is wierdly quiet!

my lovely lucy and gorgeous Charlie

pics by our gorgeous friend, Michelle

My gorgeous and talented friend Michelle often takes photos of our kids when they are playing. Enjoy xx

Well, the boys are 10 months old now. I cant believe how fast this year is going but I cannot imagine a time without them. The other kids are all growing so fast also. Will is 10, Amy is almost 10. Ali is 8 and Lucy isalmost 7 (but she has been saying she is almost 7 since she turned 6!). They are the loves of my life and cant imagine life without the hecticness. Life is pretty full and Jules and I barely have a moment to ourselves but we love it anyway. Jules and I have been out on a 'date'tonight just so we remember that there we are adults also, not just mummy and daddy! Although, all we talked about was prams, kids birthdays, christmas for the kids etc. Haha. Was still lovely though as we are talking about the things we love most - family. anyway, I will stop going on and post some more pics.
